I’m Kacey Rose — the author of Flying with the Skylark and the travel advisor behind Skylark Journeys. My work isn’t about selling travel; it’s about understanding people. I listen closely to what my clients want — and just as importantly, what they need — and I craft journeys that feel personal, intuitive, and aligned with their unique goals, whether they are traveling as an individual, a family, or an organization.
My background as a concert pianist and scholar has shaped how I move through the world: attentive to detail, curious about culture, and always looking for the story beneath the surface. Years of traveling through Europe and the Americas taught me how architecture, art, food, music, and history shape a place — and how those same elements shape our experience of it. Traveling widely with my husband, Jake (a Hollywood producer), added another dimension: storytelling, spontaneity, and a deep appreciation for the unexpected moments that make a trip memorable.
I bring all of that into my work as a travel advisor.

I take the challenges of planning off your plate: researching the right hotels, finding meals you’ll genuinely love, and managing the intricate logistics of group travel. From designing meaningful team retreats for non-profits and corporate clients to coordinating immersive, specialized programs and study abroad travel, I turn complex itineraries into seamless experiences.
